🧭 DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 — Primorsko: arrival, South Beach, and an evening on the promenade

  • 🚐 The most realistic start to this route is flying into Burgas and taking a transfer to Primorsko. The drive from Burgas Airport to the resort usually takes about 1 hour 10 minutes by car or transfer; in high season it’s better to allow 1 hour 20–30 minutes due to coastal traffic and stops. After check-in, don’t overload the first day: this region is best experienced first through the sea, light, and air. Start with Primorsko South Beach — a wide sandy stretch with a sense of open space, where the sea feels especially vast and the shore feels lively and energetic. It’s easy to catch the resort rhythm here: music from beach bars, groups of young people, a surf and SUP vibe, long barefoot walks along the sand. After the journey, it makes sense to devote 2–3 hours simply to relaxing, swimming, and dozing off to the sound of the waves, then toward evening head in the direction of the center. End the day with dinner and an unhurried walk through central Primorsko: the summer streets here are lively, with cafés, ice cream, street food, and the relaxed atmosphere typical of the Bulgarian coast, where vacation begins literally with the very first stroll.

Day 2 — Primorsko: north beach, water park, and the resort’s evening rhythm

  • 🏖️ This day is worth dedicating to a more active kind of отдых. In the morning, head to Primorsko North Beach and the Stamopolu area: here the sea and dunes create a slightly different landscape — more spacious, windier, and more photogenic, with a sense of an open horizon. It’s a great place for a youthful beach day: swimming, beach volleyball, long walks into the water, and plenty of space even in high season. After the beach, it’s convenient to take a long break for lunch and a siesta, and spend the second half of the day at Aquaplanet Primorsko — the water park in the center of the resort. The format is very convenient for a short vacation: part of the day is calm by the sea, and then you can switch to slides, pools, and a noisier summer energy. The water park works especially well as a “social” point in the itinerary — people come here not for silence, but for movement, laughter, music, and that typical vacation buzz. In the evening, return to the center without a strict schedule: after water and sun, it’s better to leave time for a shower, rest at the hotel, and only then head out to the resort promenade. Primorsko in the evening feels easy and unpretentious: it’s not a town of grand historical backdrops, but a place where mood matters more — summer light, the sea close by, and the feeling that the beach is literally just a few minutes away.

Day 3 — Primorsko → MMC → Kiten: youth zone, transition to the neighboring resort, and Atliman Beach

  • 🌊 This day is best planned as a smooth route between two neighboring resorts. In the morning, head to the MMC area — the international youth center between Primorsko and Kiten. This is an important point for understanding the character of the region: historically, this is where the coast built its reputation as a space for youth holidays, camps, sports bases, and long beach vacations. The beach area by the MMC is appealing because it combines the sea, wide sand, and a more “youthful” vibe without the feeling of an overloaded resort. It’s pleasant to spend the first half of the day here, then after lunch move on to Kiten. The distance is small: by car it’s about 10 minutes, by taxi roughly the same, on seasonal buses and minibuses usually 10–20 minutes depending on waiting time, and if you want, part of the route can be done on foot as a long walk with stops. In Kiten, it makes sense to choose Atliman Beach — one of the most pleasant and visually soft beaches on this stretch of coast. The bay makes the water calmer, and the beach itself looks very much like a “vacation postcard”: golden sand, green slopes on the sides, pedal boats, groups of friends, and soft sunset light. It’s best to keep the evening in Kiten as light as possible: a late dinner by the sea, a short walk along the central streets, and an unhurried return to your base hotel, or stay overnight here if you want a change of rhythm.

Day 4 — Kiten: Urdoviza, town beach, a sea pause, and a calm evening

  • 🌅 After the noisier first days, it’s helpful to give the itinerary a little more breathing room. Start the morning with a walk toward the Urdoviza peninsula — one of Kiten’s most distinctive points, where sea, rocks, and history come together in a compact and very expressive landscape. There’s no need for a rushed checklist here: it matters more to walk, look at the shoreline, and feel how this small resort opens up through its coves and viewpoints. Then you can head down to Kiten’s town beach and enjoy a calmer sea day: no racing between locations, just proper time for swimming, a sunbed, iced coffee, and a break in the shade. For a youth tour, this is an important contrast — not just movement and evening walks, but proper rest too, so you don’t leave tired from your own itinerary. In the second half of the day, leave time for a short nap or rest at the hotel: Bulgaria’s southern coast is very sunny in summer, and on a 5-day tour these pauses are exactly what make the trip comfortable. In the evening, you can walk through Kiten’s resort area again, choose a place by the water, and catch one of those simple Black Sea sunsets where the main beauty lies not in monumentality, but in warm colors, salty air, and the slow pace of the summer coast.

Day 5 — Primorsko: historical layer, Beglik Tash, and a final sea day

  • 🪨 The final day is best arranged so that the sea remains the main focus, but the trip also gains a deeper context. In the morning, visit the Primorsko Historical Museum — small, but very fitting for a short itinerary: it helps you see the region not only as a beach setting, but also as an area of Thracian heritage, archaeology, and local memory. After the museum, head to Beglik Tash — the famous Thracian megalithic sanctuary in the surroundings of Primorsko. For the one-way trip, it’s reasonable to allow about 15–20 minutes by car or taxi, plus time for exploring the site on foot. It’s an excellent final shift in scale: after beaches and resort life, you find yourself in a world of stone, wind, pines, and a very ancient ritual landscape. Beglik Tash does not feel like a “classic museum site” — it is perceived more as a place of power and open space, where history is read through stones, shapes, and natural staging. After returning to Primorsko, leave yourself the final hours by the sea — preferably without any new must-see stops. A last swim, a late lunch, a walk on the beach, and a calm packing session work better here than trying to squeeze in another long transfer. This ending makes the tour feel complete: you manage to enjoy youth beach relaxation, easy evening life, and a natural-historical accent without turning five days into an endless race.
