🧭 DAY-BY-DAY ROUTE

Day 1 — Arrival in Prague → train to Mariánské Lázně + evening at the colonnade (adaptation)

  • ✈️ Arrival at Prague Airport (Václav Havel). Get to the center: trolleybus 59 → Nádraží Veleslavín metro station (Line A) → transfer to Line C to “Hlavní nádraží”. Alternative: AE bus to the Main Railway Station. From the Main Railway Station — a direct train to Mariánské Lázně (≈ 2–2 h 45 min according to the timetable).

  • 🏁 Check-in. In the evening — a gentle walk along the Main Colonnade (Maxim Gorky Colonnade) and the Skalník Gardens: feel the resort climate, sit by the Singing Fountain, and tune your biorhythm.

  • 🧘 Adaptation rule: today — early dinner, minimal caffeine/alcohol, warm clothes for the evening, sleep by 22:30.

Day 2 — Loop “colonnade → Cross Spring → Singing Fountain” (light terrain cure)

  • 💧 Morning: the pavilion of the Cross Spring (Křížový) near the colonnade — start the drinking course in small portions, at a “conversation-pace” walk. Intervals of 15–20 min between glasses; agree the amount with a specialist/according to how you feel.

  • 🌿 Promenade through the colonnade galleries and along the alleys of the Skalník Gardens: 40–60 minutes of an even pace. In the afternoon — rest at the hotel/SPA pool (no overload).

  • 🎶 In the evening return to the Singing Fountain: shows on odd hours with lighting at 21:00 and 22:00 (in season).

Day 3 — Ferdinand Colonnade (Úšovice) + park: the taste of iron-rich sour mineral water and forest air

  • 🏛️ Morning: the colonnade of the Ferdinand Spring in the green part of the resort, Úšovice. Here the mineralization profile is different: taste in “micro-doses,” listening to your stomach and blood pressure.

  • 🚶 Route “colonnade → park loop → back” (60–90 minutes with pauses on benches). In the afternoon — heat treatments/sauna on a gentle schedule; in the evening — a quiet promenade by the colonnade.

Day 4 — Koliba–Krakonoš cable car → Boheminium Park + views from Hamelika

  • 🚡 Take the Koliba–Krakonoš cable car (single cabin) up to the upper station by Boheminium Park: miniatures of Czech castles in a forest setting — a walk at a “health, not marathon” pace.

  • 🗼 Optionally — a short climb to the Hamelika tower for a panorama of the resort. Descend the same way; in the evening — the contrast of “warm bath → sleep.”

Day 5 — SPA day: Roman baths/water treatments + a light promenade

  • 🛁 Focus on therapeutic treatments (as prescribed): mineral baths, carbonic gas “pearl” baths, mud therapy. At the Ensana sanatorium hotels (Nové Lázně, Centrální Lázně, Hvězda, etc.) — historic interiors and medical departments.

  • ✅ Day logic: 1–2 treatments + sleep + 30–40 minutes of calm walking along the colonnade. No strength training.

Day 6 — Culture: City Museum + Chopin House

  • 🏺 Městské muzeum Mariánské Lázně (Goethe Square, the oldest building in the historic part): the resort’s history, hydrology, famous guests. Then — the Fryderyk Chopin Memorial at Chopin House (Hlavní 47): a chamber exhibition about the composer’s visit and the festival tradition.

  • ☕ A café break, return via the alleys of the Skalník Gardens, early evening.

Day 7 — Finale at the colonnade + favorite places and packing

  • 🌤️ Morning: repeat your favorite loop around the colonnade and drinking pavilions (depending on how you feel). For memory — a photo against the backdrop of the cast-iron arches of the Maxim Gorky Colonnade and the Singing Fountain.

  • 🧳 Pack without rushing. If departure is in the second half of the day — another 30–40 minutes in the park, a light lunch, room-temperature water. See you, Mariánské Lázně!
