🧭 DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY (14 days)

Day 1 — Constanța: Casino Promenade + Aquarium

  • 🌊 A gentle start by the sea: a walk along the Faleza promenade past the legendary Cazinoului Constanța building and a visit to the Aquarium (B-dul Regina Elisabeta 1). Here are three themed sections (marine, freshwater, exotic), a compact “one to one-and-a-half hours” format after the road, and lots of “wow!” for kids: sterlet, crucian carp, Black Sea inhabitants. Afterwards—ice cream on the boulevard and photos with the waves in the background.

Day 2 — Natural Sciences Complex: Dolphinarium + Planetarium + Microreserve

  • 🐬 Constanța’s main “kids’ magnet” is the Complexul Muzeal de Științe ale Naturii: a dolphin show in a modern pool (hall for ~1300 seats), the Planetarium dome with programs for different ages, and the Microreserve—a mini-zoo with birds, hoofed animals, turtles, plus water and shady paths. Plan: 1) morning show, 2) lunch/picnic on site, 3) a calm space hour in the Planetarium. Address: Bd. Mamaia 255.

Day 3 — Mamaia: Aqua Magic water park

  • 💦 Aqua Magic at the southern entrance to Mamaia is a day of splashes and laughter: castle staircases, family slides, kids’ zones, loungers in the shade. The secret to success: arrive at opening, swim caps/arm bands for little ones, and a “quiet hour” on the lawn in the shade after lunch. Nearby—convenient infrastructure and parking.

Day 4 — Mamaia: Telegondola cable car + Siutghiol/Black Sea beach

  • 🚡 Ride over the resort on Telegondola Mamaia: the cabins run between the Perla and Cazino stations, with views of the sea and Lake Siutghiol—kids love it. Afterwards—free play: sand “fortresses,” shell collecting, and calm swimming in the shallow waters of southern Mamaia. In bad weather—cafes/play areas along the promenade zone.

Day 5 — Mamaia: Satul de Vacanță + Luna Park (an evening of rides)

  • 🎢 In the evening, head to Satul de Vacanță at the entrance to Mamaia: fair food, lighting, and the Luna Park amusement park—classic family resort fun. For little ones—carousels and little trains; for teens—the Ferris wheel and bigger “extreme” rides. Pro tip: agree in advance on a budget for rides and one “must-have” prize.

Day 6 — Constanța: National Museum of the Romanian Navy + Tăbăcărie Park

  • ⚓ Muzeul Național al Marinei Române offers interactive halls about the sea and ships, models, and an open-air display (anchors, engines). Kids like “history as an adventure.” Afterwards—relax in Tăbăcărie Park: paths along the water, ducks, playgrounds. Keep the pace “slow”: lunch picnic and a lounger on the grass.

Day 7 — Neptun: PARADIS LAND (rope park) — fun for the whole family

  • 🧗‍♀️ A day trip south (≈45–60 minutes by car): in the forest of the Neptun resort, Parc Aventura Paradis Land has courses of varying difficulty, zip lines, and safe harnessing. A great way to “burn off energy” after beach days. For parents—a cafe in the shade of the pines.

Day 8 — Neptun: Jurasica Adventure Park + free time at the sea

  • 🦕 Jurasica is a themed park with huge inflatable dinosaurs, games, and tasks for younger kids. Combo day: Jurasica (morning) → lunch → a calm Neptun beach (fewer crowds, gentle surf). Return to Mamaia for dinner.

Day 9 — Lake Siutghiol: a boat trip to Ovidiu Island

  • ⛵ A short cruise on Lake Siutghiol to Insula Ovidiu (from the pier opposite Cazino Mamaia): kids love the “secret island” in the middle of the lagoon, feeding seagulls, and views of the resort from the water. Bring windbreakers/sun hats—there’s a fresh breeze on the lake.

Day 10 — “Căluțul de Mare” Children’s Theatre + seaside ice cream

  • 🎭 The “Căluțul de Mare” theatre for children and teenagers often premieres fairy-tale productions—the language is easy to follow, and the visuals keep even little ones engaged. After the show—dessert by the water and a photo walk.

Day 11 — Constanța: The Roman Edifice with Mosaic + Ovid Square

  • 🏛️ Edificiul Roman cu Mozaic is open to the public again: a huge 4th-century mosaic hall, a “window” into ancient Tomis. The exhibition is compact—ideal for school-age kids. Nearby is Piața Ovidiu with street musicians, cafes, and street ice cream.

Day 12 — Repeat a favorite: Dolphinarium/Planetarium or Aquarium (child’s choice)

  • 🔁 “The child chooses” day: go back to whatever you liked best—repeat visits often reveal details you missed the first time. A good tactic: half a day active (show/exhibition), half a day—beach and a nap.

Day 13 — Mamaia: calm beach + Telegondola at sunset

  • 🌅 Final shots: morning—sandcastles and shells, after lunch—souvenirs, and at sunset one more ride on the Telegondola: soft light, promenade lights, and frames you’ll want to rewatch at home.

Day 14 — Farewell to the sea: market/souvenirs and departure

  • 🎒 Slow packing, postcards, magnets, and signature sweets. If your flight is in the evening—drop by the promenade for last photos by the waves. On the road, keep water/snacks—kids get tired faster than adults.
