🧭 DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 — Mitte: getting to know the city + bar kickoff

  • Arrival at BER and express to the center: FEX goes to Berlin Hbf in ~22–23 minutes, then 1 stop on the S-Bahn to Friedrichstraße/ Hackescher Markt in the heart of Mitte. Check-in and a leisurely walk along Unter den Linden to Museum Island: the Bode Museum colonnades above the water, the dome of Berlin Cathedral, the cozy courtyards of Hackesche Höfe. By evening — bar-hopping around Auguststraße and Torstraße: vintage cocktail bars, natural wines, and Berlin craft beers. The vibe: brick, candles, vinyl music. For a warm-up dance — the legendary hall Clärchens Ballhaus (social dancing and live orchestras) or jazz clubs nearby.

  • Timing (example): BER → Hbf FEX ~23 min; Hbf → Friedrichstraße S-Bahn ~3–5 min; walking around Mitte 1.5–2 h; bar-hopping 3–4 h. We recommend going to bed early — tomorrow is a packed day.

Day 2 — Kreuzberg: canal kayaking + craft beer and techno classics

  • Active morning: a kayak tour on the Landwehr Canal and the Spree with Kayak Berlin Tours (meet at Carl-Herz-Ufer, near U1 Prinzenstraße). In 2.5–3 hours you pass arched bridges, green embankments and hear stories about the old Berlin water gates. After that — lunch on Maybachufer and a walk through Oranienplatz to the craft temple BRLO BRWHOUSE in Gleisdreieck Park: tasting sets, aromatic hops and great vegetarian grill.

  • In the evening — Köpenicker/Köpenicker Straße and Berlin’s techno heritage: Tresor (concrete, industrial underground halls) or fetish parties/electro at KitKatClub (strict dress code). Alternative — light bar-hopping along Oranienstraße: from vintage pubs to signature cocktails. Return by night U-Bahn/S-Bahn: on Fridays/Saturdays trains run all night every ~10–15 minutes.

  • Logistics: Mitte → Prinzenstraße (U6+U1) ~15–20 min; on-water tour 2.5–3 h; Gleisdreieck (U1/U2/U3) from Kreuzberg ~10–15 min; clubs within a 10–20 min radius by U/S-Bahn and on foot.

Day 3 — Friedrichshain: East Side Gallery → RAW-Gelände → open air/club

  • During the day — East Side Gallery (Mühlenstraße): 1.3 km of preserved wall turned into an open-air gallery. Next — along the Spree to Holzmarkt: waterside cafés, street musicians. Continue to the abandoned-arts RAW-Gelände: graffiti, skate ramps, evening markets. For bar-hopping — Simon-Dach-Straße and side streets: from Belgian ale to natural cider.

  • Night —://about blank (garden with fire pits in summer, queer-friendly crowd, house/techno) or Kater Blau (waterside terraces, sunrise over the Spree). Dress code is relaxed, but avoid a loud “touristy” look; turn off flash and respect no-photo stickers.

Day 4 — Neukölln: Tempelhofer Feld, rooftop, and Weserstraße bars

  • Morning/day — Tempelhofer Feld: the former runway has turned into a giant park for cycling and rollerblading, kites, and picnics. Rent a longboard or bike nearby and ride the taxiways with the Tempelhof terminal as a backdrop.

  • Sunset — the iconic rooftop Klunkerkranich atop Neukölln Arcaden: city panorama, vinyl sets, and cocktails with local ingredients. Then — bar-hopping along Weserstraße/Weichselkiez: small signature bars, neon, cozy electronic vibes. Late — head down to a host bar with house or return to Mitte by night bus N or U-Bahn (weekend — 24/7).

Day 5 — Prenzlauer Berg: Mauerpark, courtyards, and the oldest beer garden

  • If it’s Sunday — stop by the Mauerpark flea market (around noon): street food, vinyl, vintage. Walk along Kastanienallee and Helmholtzplatz to the legendary Prater Garten (founded in the 19th century): liter steins, chestnut trees, evening lights. In the off-season — cozy pubs around Eberswalder Straße, cider and wine bars on Senefelderplatz.

  • Night — gentler: a speakeasy cocktail bar or back to Mitte for late dancing (social/swing at Clärchens Ballhaus).

Day 6 — Charlottenburg/City West: modern art + Tiergarten + Monkey Bar

  • Daytime — modern art at Hamburger Bahnhof (a former station, now the National Gallery of Contemporary Art). Then — a bike loop through Tiergarten: avenues, lakes, and the Victory Column. Toward sunset — City West: at 25hours Bikini Berlin, go up to Monkey Bar (views of the zoo enclosures and the spires of Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church). Bar-hopping — around Savignyplatz: wine bars, classic German and fusion cuisines.

  • Late — nearby jazz/funk clubs or a quick trip to Friedrichshain on S3/S5/S7 for those who want techno again.

Day 7 — Potsdam (day trip): parks and palaces → back to Berlin for a rave

  • Morning — travel to Potsdam: RE1 Berlin Hbf → Potsdam Hbf ~25–30 minutes (S7 option — ~40–50 minutes). Walk in Sanssouci Park: Neues Palais, vineyard terraces, Chinese House. Lunch in central Potsdam and return to Berlin by evening.

  • Night — for those ready for hardcore: Berghain/ Panorama Bar (always a tough door, lines; discreet outfit, no photos) or the seasonal open air at Sisyphos (summer, many floors, several days of music).

Day 8 — Treptow and Holzmarkt: SUP/kayaks, art quarters, and a farewell dance

  • Morning activity: SUP boards from StandUp Club Berlin (locations on the Spree and bays) or a repeat water trip toward the East Harbor. Daytime — Berlinische Galerie and/or the Jewish Museum (Libeskind architecture, rich exhibition).

  • Finale — Holzmarkt 25: embankment lights, parties on the terraces. If you have the energy and desire — Kater Blau until sunrise. Otherwise — a quiet waterside bar and a late dinner in Mitte.
