🧭 DAY-BY-DAY ROUTE

Day 1 — Arrival in Novosibirsk (Tolmachyovo) → Berdsk. Getting acquainted and the Central Beach “Old Berdsk”

  • 🚕 Transfer: Tolmachyovo Airport → Berdsk. By car or taxi the trip takes about 50–70 minutes depending on traffic (distance about 45–55 km). You can also reach the city by express bus No. 111E to Novosibirsk-Glavny station and then by suburban train to the “Berdsk” station (travel time from ~41 to ~51 minutes according to the timetable), but factor in transfers and waiting time.

  • 🏖️ Central city beach “Old Berdsk”. A wide sandy strip in the park of the same name opens directly onto the calm waters of Berdsk Bay. On site: shade from pine trees, gazebo rentals with BBQ grills, food points, umbrellas, and beach gear rental. Popular with locals, it’s great for a first swim, family отдых, and sunset walks along the water’s edge.

  • 🌅 In the evening, take a stroll along the shore of Berdsk Bay: the water glows softly in the sunset rays, and a light haze often rises above the pine forest line. A perfect moment to feel the atmosphere of the “Siberian sea” and tune in for beach days.

Day 2 — Berdsk Spit: nature park and “wild” beaches

  • 🚶 Nature park “Berdsk Spit” is a long sandy peninsula at the mouth of the Berd River, a specially protected local area. Here you’ll find alternating stretches of pine forest, dunes, and wide sandy shallows with views of the open Novosibirsk Reservoir. On a clear, windless day the water is clearer near the shallow lagoons, and with a fresh wind low waves run along the “sea” edge.

  • 🧭 Overview of the spit’s beaches. The southern lagoons closer to the Berd’s mouth are warmer and shallower—ideal for calm swimming and отдых with children; the side open to the reservoir is wider and windier, with more impressive waves and panoramas. Keep the protected-area status in mind: don’t light fires and take your trash with you; in season there may be restrictions on vehicle access. Wind and current at the pointed tip of the spit can be strong—swim only in safe places.

  • 🍃 Picnic in the shade of the pines. Bring a blanket, repellent, and drinking water. For getting around along the spit, trekking sandals work well: in places there are pine roots and sections with coarser sand. There’s little infrastructure on the spit—this is part of its charm and authenticity.

Day 3 — Rechkunovka Recreation Area: “Lazurny” and “Parus” beaches, warm outdoor pool

  • 🏞️ The Rechkunovka Recreation Area stretches along the shore of Berdsk Bay as a pine ribbon of resorts, санаториums, and walking trails. The beaches here are well maintained: the entry into the water is gentle, the bottom is sandy, and many health resorts have their own оборудованный shoreline sections with sunbed rentals, gazebos, and bathhouses/saunas.

  • 🏖️ Beach of the “Lazurny” sanatorium. The grounds open directly onto the bay; the resort offers gazebo rentals at the water’s edge, saunas, and summer activities. The “all inclusive” format is popular with families; in summer the beach is liveliest.

  • 💦 Beach and heated outdoor pool at the “Parus” sanatorium. A large outdoor pool with hydro zones is plan B for cool weather or evening relaxation. On the shore there are lounging areas, spa services, and infrastructure. During the day, combine swimming in the bay with the pool: by evening the water in the basin is especially comfortable.

Day 4 — Water and wind: the “Aqualand” yacht club, walks around Berdsk Bay, and beaches by sanatoriums

  • ⛵ Yacht club “Aqualand” is the largest marina on the Novosibirsk Reservoir, with the vibe of a small seaport. In season it’s bustling: yachts and motorboats moor here, regattas take place, and the panoramas of the bay and pine shores make you want to photograph every minute.

  • 🏖️ Today’s beach mix. Morning: calm swimming and SUP/kayaks in wind-sheltered parts of the bay in Rechkunovka; daytime: windy with dramatic views at the more open beaches; evening: relax in a sauna or outdoor hot tub/pool at one of the resorts.

  • 🕯️ Sunset on the embankment/coastal trail. Walk along the pine fringe: the scent of warmed resin mixes with the moist breeze, and the water surface darkens with each passing minute—an ideal finale to a насыщенный day on the water.

Day 5 — Morozovskoye Tract: intimate beaches and quiet pine forest + the Berdsk museum

  • 🌲 Morozovskoye Tract is an intimate corner on the shore of Berdsk Bay: sand, shade from вековых pines, and quiet water. It’s convenient for a lazy beach afternoon, and afterward—lunch with a water view at a country hotel restaurant.

  • 🏛️ A final dose of culture: the Berdsk Museum of History and Art. The exhibition covers the history of the city and region and includes art halls; a small but heartfelt space to bring together your nature impressions and local context.

  • 🎒 Return to Novosibirsk or the airport: plan 50–70 minutes for the road from Berdsk by taxi/car, taking into account the bridge and city traffic. For an early flight it’s sensible to leave with extra time or spend the night closer to the city.
