🧭 DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 — Orlando: arrival, Disney Springs, and “gentle acclimation”

  • ✈️ Arrive at Orlando International (MCO). Check in to the hotel and take a relaxed walk around Disney Springs: musicians, an amphibious-boat-style carousel, LEGO window displays, and ice cream by the water. This is the perfect “day zero” without rides: kids move around, get fresh air, and fall asleep on time. Life hack: have an early dinner and 30–40 minutes of free play on a playground to shake off the travel day.

Day 2 — Orlando: Magic Kingdom (classic Disney for kids)

  • 🏰 Magic Kingdom is a world of fairy tales and parades: “Dumbo,” “Peter Pan,” trains, little boats, and shows at Cinderella Castle. A family plan: arrive for opening (earlier = shorter lines) → a block of “kid” rides in Fantasyland → nap/quiet break in shady areas → evening parade/fireworks if the kids still have energy. Bring a foldable poncho for sudden rain and plan breaks every 60–90 minutes.

Day 3 — Orlando: Disney’s Animal Kingdom (animals + adventure)

  • 🦒 The most “natural” of the WDW parks: a safari with giraffes and zebras, the “World of Pandora” with bioluminescent “rivers,” bird shows. Kids love “Wilderness Explorers,” a game where you earn badges. Tactics: morning — Kilimanjaro Safaris, midday — shade and shows, evening — easy rides and ice cream.

Day 4 — Orlando: EPCOT (science and the world) + Skyliner gondola

  • 🔬 EPCOT is a park about “how the world works”: flying over countries on Soarin’, interactive exhibits in the pavilions, and outside — mini “countries” around the lagoon. Kids enjoy the play areas and sweet tastings in different “nations.” In the evening, ride the Disney Skyliner (gondola cable car) for the views without extra lines.

Day 5 — Orlando: Universal Studios Florida (family movie worlds)

  • 🎬 Movie and cartoon heroes: the Illumination area with Minions, playgrounds and interactive experiences, and the train to the Harry Potter world (for school-age kids). Bring a height measurer: some rides have restrictions. Keep snacks handy so you don’t fall out of rhythm.

Day 6 — Day trip: LEGOLAND Florida (Winter Haven)

  • 🧱 Transfer: Orlando → LEGOLAND, about 45–75 minutes by car depending on your area and traffic. On site is a park designed for kids 2–12: LEGO mini-cities, gentle family coasters, building zones, water play areas. Day formula: in the morning, the “top” rides → at midday, shade and indoor creativity → after lunch, finish whatever you still want.

Day 7 — Day trip: Kennedy Space Center (Cape Canaveral) + beach

  • 🚀 The drive from Orlando to KSC is usually 1–1.5 hours. In the Visitor Complex: the Atlantis shuttle, rockets, “Martian” zones, and kid-friendly interactives. 2–4 hours fly by. Weather permitting, stop by Cocoa Beach: build a fort, run on the sand, and decompress after “space.”

Day 8 — Orlando: Orlando Science Center + Crayola Experience

  • 🔭 Morning — Orlando Science Center: dinosaurs, weather stations, experiments, and a dome cinema. After lunch — Crayola Experience at Florida Mall: 20+ art activities where you can melt crayons, print stickers, and “bring drawings to life.” A “breather” day without big lines and with creativity.

Day 9 — Transfer to Tampa: aquarium and a waterfront walk

  • 🚗 Orlando → Tampa via I‑4: usually 1.5–2 hours including a stop. At the Florida Aquarium: mangrove exhibits, a coral reef, and touch zones. In the evening — the Riverwalk and a family dinner (it’s important for kids to go to bed early before a busy day).

Day 10 — Tampa/Clearwater: ZooTampa + marine animal rehabilitation center

  • 🦩 Morning at ZooTampa: giraffes with feeding, a water splash zone, safari loops of 60–90 minutes. After quiet time — Clearwater Marine Aquarium (not a classic “show aquarium,” but a hospital and rescued animals; lots of educational stories). If the weather is good — sunset on the white sand of Clearwater Beach.

Day 11 — Transfer to Miami via the Everglades (airboat safari)

  • 🛶 Tampa → Miami is 4–5 hours by car. It’s best to break up the route with a stop at Everglades Safari Park on US‑41: 45–60 minutes of airboat riding, ranger talks, and crocodiles in the wild. Kids love the wind and spray—bring caps and earplugs. By evening — check in at a Miami Beach/Brickell hotel.

Day 12 — Miami: Frost Science (planetarium + aquarium) and Metromover

  • 🪐 Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science — a “science campus” with a spherical planetarium and a “bowl” aquarium where you can watch sunlight through the depth of water. Then — the free Metromover around downtown: a sightseeing “ride” without crowds and lines.

Day 13 — Miami: Miami Children’s Museum + beach/shaded playground

  • 🧒 A large children’s museum on Watson Island: a play “city,” crafts, interactive exhibits for toddlers and schoolkids. Then — free play by the water: the shaded playgrounds at South Pointe Park or a calm beach in the morning hours. In the evening — pack suitcases without rushing.

Day 14 — Fort Lauderdale: Museum of Discovery & Science and departure

  • 🧪 On the way to the airport — a final touch: MODS in Fort Lauderdale with an “Everglades ecosystem,” bats, areas for older kids and toddlers. It’s насыщенно, but not tiring. Next — the road to the airport (MIA/FLL) and the flight home. Bonus: kids happily “tell” about everything they saw using photos.
